Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Authors wishing to submit a manuscript to the Journal must strictly adhere to the following guidelines. Manuscripts that do not conform to these specifications may be returned to the authors prior to peer review.

1. General Submission Requirements

  • Language: All manuscripts must be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English.

  • Originality: Manuscripts submitted must be original, unpublished work, and not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.

  • File Format: Submissions must be uploaded in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx) via the Journal's online submission portal (OJS).

  • Font & Typography: The manuscript text must be formatted in Book Antiqua font, 12 pt size, 1.5 line spacing, with 2.5 cm (1 inch) margins on all sides.

  • Article Length: The full manuscript should be between 4,000 to 8,000 words, including abstract, tables, figures, references, and appendices.

2. Manuscript Structure & Layout

The manuscript should be structured as follows:

  1. Title: Concise, informative, and reflective of the content (maximum 15–20 words).

  2. Author Information:

    • Full name(s) of all authors (without academic titles).

    • Institutional affiliation and address for each author.

    • Email address of the Corresponding Author.

    • ORCID iD for all authors.

  3. Abstract:

    • A single paragraph of 250 to 300 words.

    • Must summarize the background/objective, methods, key findings, and main conclusions/implications.

    • Must avoid citations and non-standard abbreviations.

  4. Keywords: Exactly 5 keywords, separated by semicolons, used for indexing purposes.

  5. Main Text: Should typically follow the IMRaD structure:

    • Introduction: Research background, context, gap in literature, and clear research objective/question.

    • Methods: Detailed description of the research design, data collection, sampling, and analytical procedures to allow replication.

    • Results and Discussion: Presentation of clear empirical findings (supported by tables/figures) and an in-depth discussion comparing results with existing literature.

    • Conclusion: Summary of key insights, practical/theoretical implications, limitations, and future research directions.

  6. Acknowledgments (Optional): Credit funding sources, institutional support, or individuals who contributed to the study.

  7. References: Complete list of all cited works.

3. Citations and Reference Style

  • Reference Format: The Journal strictly follows the APA Style (7th Edition) for both in-text citations and the reference list.

  • Citation Sources: Authors are strongly encouraged to cite recent, peer-reviewed primary literature (at least 80% from reputable journals published within the last 5–10 years).

  • Reference Manager: Manuscripts must be prepared using reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

  • DOIs: Active Digital Object Identifier (DOI) links must be included for all references where available (formatted as [https://doi.org/](https://doi.org/)...).

4. Tables and Figures

  • All tables and figures must be numbered consecutively (e.g., Table 1, Figure 1) and cited in the main text.

  • Tables should be embedded within the text as editable Word tables (not scanned images), complete with a brief, descriptive title above the table.

  • Figures/Images must be clear, high-resolution (minimum 300 DPI), with captions provided below the figure.

5. Ethical Guidelines & Declarations

  • Plagiarism Policy: Manuscripts will be screened using anti-plagiarism software (e.g., Turnitin). The overall similarity index must not exceed 20% (with single-source similarity under 3%).

  • Research Ethics: Studies involving human or animal subjects must state compliance with ethical standards and mention approval from an appropriate institutional ethics board/committee.

  • Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest related to the research.

6. Submission Checklist

Prior to uploading your manuscript, please ensure the following:

  • [x] The submission file is in Microsoft Word format set in Book Antiqua font.

  • [x] Full author details, affiliations, and ORCID iDs are provided.

  • [x] The abstract is within the 250–300 word limit with exactly 5 keywords.

  • [x] References follow APA 7th Edition format with active DOIs included.

  • [x] Reference management software (Mendeley/Zotero) was used.

  • [x] All figures and tables are cited in the text and properly formatted.
