Archive Policy

Archiving Policy & Digital Preservation

The Journal is committed to ensuring the permanent accessibility, preservation, and availability of all published scholarly content. We employ robust digital preservation strategies and self-archiving policies to guarantee that our publications remain accessible to the global research community in perpetuity, adhering to the standards set by DOAJ and Scopus.

1. Digital Preservation & Long-Term Archiving

To prevent data loss and ensure long-term digital preservation, all articles published in the Journal are archived using the following mechanisms:

  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): The Journal utilizes the PKP PN plugin to automatically deposit published content into a decentralized distributed archiving network (LOCKSS system).

  • National Library Archiving: All published volumes are regularly deposited and indexed in national digital repository systems.

  • Self-Hosted Backups: The publisher maintains secure, off-site, and redundant server backups of all full-text PDF files and XML/HTML metadata on a daily basis.

In the event that the Journal ceases publication, all archived content will remain accessible to the public through these third-party digital repositories without restriction.

2. Self-Archiving Policy (Author Rights)

The Journal supports Green Open Access and permits authors to self-archive their work in institutional or thematic repositories, personal websites, and academic social networks (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu).

Authors are permitted to deposit the following versions of their work under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license:

Article Version Permitted? Embargo Period Repository Type Allowed
Preprint (Submitted version prior to peer review) Yes None Personal website, preprint servers (arXiv, Research Square, etc.)
Postprint (Accepted manuscript after peer review) Yes None Institutional repositories, subject repositories
Publisher's Version/PDF (Final published layout) Yes None Institutional repositories, personal websites, academic networks, commercial repositories

Conditions for Self-Archiving:

  • Authors must acknowledge the original source of publication with a full citation.

  • Authors must provide the active Digital Object Identifier (DOI) link pointing to the original article on the Journal's website.

3. Metadata Indexing & Persistence

  • Persistent Identifiers (DOI): Every published article is assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) via Crossref, ensuring a permanent and unbreakable link to the content.

  • Open Access Metadata: All article metadata (including abstracts, citations, and reference lists) are made openly available via Crossref, OAI-PMH endpoints, and indexing databases.
