Publication Process

Publication Process

The Journal ensures a transparent, rigorous, and efficient workflow from initial submission to final publication. The step-by-step publication process is outlined below:

Step 1: Manuscript Submission

Authors submit their manuscript online via the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. The submission must adhere strictly to the Author Guidelines (Book Antiqua font, 250–300 words abstract, 5 keywords, APA 7th style) and include all author affiliations and ORCID iDs.

Step 2: Initial Screening & Desk Review

Within 1–3 days of submission, the Managing Editor conducts an initial evaluation to check:

  • Scope alignment and structural compliance.

  • Plagiarism screening via anti-plagiarism software (Turnitin, max 20% overall similarity).

Manuscripts failing desk review will be returned or rejected.

Step 3: Peer Review Evaluation

Manuscripts passing desk review are sent for Double-Anonymous Peer Review to a minimum of three (3) independent reviewers. Reviewers evaluate the paper within 3–6 weeks based on scientific rigor, methodology, originality, and significance.

Step 4: Editorial Decision & Revisions

Based on the report of the 3 reviewers, the Editor-in-Chief communicates one of the following decisions to the author:

  • Accept Submission (Direct acceptance)

  • Revisions Required (Minor or Major revisions needed)

  • Decline Submission (Rejection)

Authors receiving a revision decision must submit their revised manuscript along with a point-by-point response letter within the given deadline.

Step 5: Acceptance & Author Fees

Once the revised manuscript is formally accepted:

  • An official Letter of Acceptance (LoA) is issued to the author.

  • The author receives invoice details for the Article Publication Charge (APC) of IDR 75,000 (and optional IDR 50,000 translation fee if applicable).

Step 6: Copyediting & Proofreading

The accepted manuscript undergoes professional copyediting for grammar, clarity, and formatting compliance. Authors are sent the final galley proof to verify layout, equations, and metadata prior to publication.

Step 7: Online Publication & Indexing

  • The final article is assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) via Crossref.

  • The article is published immediately under an Open Access CC BY-SA 4.0 license.

  • Metadata is deposited into digital preservation networks (PKP PN) and indexed in partner databases (e.g., Google Scholar, GARUDA, ISSN).
